Minxies Spring 2019 Shoot - Holm House, Penarth

Our Spring 2019 shoot was in the beautiful boutique hotel, Holm House. Much smaller than our usual venues but we just about managed to fit everyone in (there is A LOT of us!). We got Lumi Events involved to dress the rooms for us and what a fantastic job they did. The flowers they incorporated especially into the bridal suite were exquisite. We took a lot of shots in this area as Holm House have a stand alone bath which looks out over the grounds and an exceptional sea view. Very romantic. Peter Morgan (Morgan James Photography) took some incredible photographs of Shanie and Thalia in this area or should I say 'in the bath!'. We were so pleased with how they turned out with at one point Pete balancing either side of the bath right over Shanie with his camera!
For this shoot in particular we wanted to stay away from the usual stagnant model draped over a chair. We wanted this one to be fun, full of laughter, action shots and a story of the new generation of brides coming through. Brides that don't necessarily want the perfectly posed shots. We had Ruby and Jessie on the bar with neon lights behind them, action shots of them with champagne bottles and shot glasses.
We were lucky enough to have the weather, so we brought some of our Minxies Models outside to get some shots of Holm House's beautifully kept grounds. We had a special guest, a handsome French bulldog, to pose with Kylie on the steps of the grounds. What a shot! Kylie had an incredible flower crown made by Samara Best buds to show off her mint coloured hairstyle. The colours Samara incorporated were perfect. For the other models we ask no other than our favourite bespoke hair accessory lady, Jane, from Aslett and Willatt. Super talented and always goes out of her way for us, Jane was up into the early hours making Shanies huge statement crown. It really was a show stopper.
All models with dressed in Perfections Bridal brand new collection.....these dresses were insane! So beautiful, so delecate, just perfect.
Holm House is a very stunning, boutique style hotel with stunning views and has a lot to offer with being able to have the hotel exclusively yours for the special day.
