COUPLE'S WEDDING STORY:
Ben & I met in 2016, our first date was in a toilet, a converted underground WC in London which had been made into a wine and charcuterie bar (we spend our lives explaining that first statement)! It was the most incredible date in which later on in our relationship we both admitted that we knew we would spend the rest of our lives together. It was just meant to be and we knew it.
From there on we became inseparable and after a fantastic year together Ben popped the question 4 days before Christmas in our London apartment. It was a magical moment, one which I wish I could relive all over again, but luckily Ben had cleverly set up a camera in the corner of the room which recorded the incredible event! We then popped open a bottle of Lanson which Ben had sneakily popped into the fridge to cool and enjoyed our evening celebrating! We had bought this bottle of champagne in our first month of dating (both agreeing we would save it for a special occasion, little did I know it would be our engagement)!
Fast forward 2 years later, we are living in a beautiful apartment overlooking the sea in Wales and we are preparing for our big day! As for my dress shopping experience, it was literally perfect. I had my mum, mother-in-law, flower girl, and my 4 gorgeous bridesmaids with me. Together we found my beautiful Paloma Blanca dress in the second shop on the first day of shopping! I hadn't even seen the dress but as soon as Naomi (Laura May Bridal Shop) pulled the dress from the rail, I took one look at it and said: "That's the one!" I Tried it on and I was absolutely right, I had that "feeling" and I felt truly beautiful! My bridal team also found their dresses in the same shop, it was a day we will all never forget!
Finally on Saturday September 14th, 2019 the day arrived and as you can imagine it was amazing. The sun came out for the entire weekend, the day went as smoothly as a wedding can go and our guests had a fantastic time as did we! We can't believe the day is now over, as every bride and groom says, but we are now looking forward to our first Christmas together as Mr & Mrs and welcoming our first puppy together in the New Year!
