Frequently Asked Questions

Details

How long do eyelash extensions last?
Eyelash extensions last around 1 to 2 weeks if they are properly taken care of.

How come my eyelash extensions are coming off?
Some makeup removers and mascaras are oil based. If you are going to use oil based products, care needs to be taken to avoid contact with eyelash extensions because the oil breaks down the bond.

Do eyelash extensions harm your natural eyelashes?
No. If you take them off correctly using the correct lash remover your natural eyelashes will be intact. DO NOT pick them off as this will rip out your natural eyelashes.

Can I wear mascara with my eyelash extensions?
Yes, although the less you tamper with them the more likely they will stay in place and last longer. Mascaras need to be non-oil based in order to ensure extension bond does not loosen. If you are unsure if your mascara is non-oil based it is better not to use to avoid premature removal of eyelash extensions.

Can I get my eyelash extensions wet?
Some say yes but it my experience the less they are in contact with water the more chance you have of them staying in tact and lasting longer. So be careful when showering to avoid water directly going on to the lashes.

Growing is part of the process and believe me when I say you don’t get anywhere fast. So get started ASAP and learn to enjoy the process. πŸ–€Your not going to have massive engagement on your first reel πŸ–€Your not going to gain 5000 followers after 20 posts πŸ–€Your not going to be picked up by your favourite brand after one tag But who cares?! πŸ‘ŒYour starting to build πŸ‘ŒYour learning and growing as you go πŸ‘ŒYour building something of your own AND THAT IS FUN AND SATISFYING IN ITSELF πŸ™Œ All the insta perfect accounts were beginners first. Dont get yourself demotivated because it looks like everyone is getting ahead. Set your own achievable goals and work at it every day. 3 WORDS : Just Be Consistant I find it extremely challenging a lot of the time at the minute. With cole being a very active 2 year old and Sofia only 4 months I get so wound up I can’t be creative and do my make up looks that keep me going. Especially not being able to work and paint faces like I usually do. When I plan an evening to myself to just play with my make up, film a look, watch some inspo and I can’t because one of them needs me I can’t help but feel frustrated and I feel selfish just because of feeling like that (major mum guilt). You can easily just give up and put it on hold but if you need to be creative and it makes you happy keep doing it and if you are thinking about starting something DO IT! If I can get one look in a week I’m happy 😊 but let me tell you if I didn’t have my two little ones I’d be blowing up your insta feed every day!!!! 🀣
