Abi - Professional Hair Stylist
Abi has been immersed in the hair industry for over 17 years, beginning her journey straight after leaving school. Her passion for hair quickly evolved into a career, and she later qualified as a hairdressing tutor, sharing her skills and inspiring the next generation of stylists.
Her love for bridal hair began when she styled her friend’s wedding, a moment that not only sparked her interest in wedding glam but also led her to meet Jodie and join the Minxies team. Since becoming a member in 2016, Abi has never looked back, calling it the best decision she’s ever made.
Abi is known for her bold, glamorous style and her motto, “go big or go home,” perfectly captures her creative spirit. While she’s skilled in all styles, her signature look is the big curly bun, voluminous, elegant, and full of personality. Her work is not only technically flawless but also infused with fun and flair, making her a favourite among brides who want to make a statement.
Her talent has earned her multiple accolades, including first place at the MUA Awards in 2018 and repeated nominations at the Welsh Hair and Beauty Awards for Best Bridal Hair Stylist. Abi’s career highlights also include appearing on E4’s The Big Blow Out, an experience she describes as one of her proudest and most exciting achievements.
