Minxies Spring 2018 Photoshoot - Gileston Manor

Minxies Spring 2018 shoot was in the brand new South Wales wedding venue, Gileston Manor. What a stunning location. This Georgian Manor house is based in St Athan looking over the sea. The grounds are spectacular and even though we did the shoot mid April and the gardens were not yet in bloom it was still breathtaking. Gileston has its very own church and a brand new Civil Ceremony temple. What a backdrop to work with for the Minxies shoot.
As always we had a lot of the Minxies team there on the day getting our seven models ready with upcoming bridal looks we had created. With being wedding hairstylists we are very fussy with our bridal hair accessories, they add to the overall look, whether its a veil or an accessory we love Aslett & Willett. Aslett & Willett make handmade, to order, bespoke wedding hair accessories and they really do have the wow factor, they make our hairstyles stand out from the crowd.
We are constantly looking for photographers that understand our fresh, modern style and luckily met Peter Morgan of Morgan James Photography. Not only a very talented wedding photographer but a huge personality and could handle the chaos of the Minxies shoot easily. Well organised chaos! Peter fitted in so well and really made the models feel at ease.
We turned to one of our all time favorite wedding dress suppliers Perfections. Perfections dresses never disappoint! They are on point, up to date, bang on trend bridal dresses. With each model coming out of the dressing room looking like a million dollars. No wedding dress would be complete without a bouquet and our Minxies models would look bare without one in hand. These finished off the look with eye catching bouquets by I Love Lilly. Those colours though against the dresses.....!
We loved the day as always and it gives us a chance to pick looks that we love at the moment and to show our skills. It gives brides a look into us as a team, who we are and the looks we just love to create.
